Our Board

Father Greg Tallant (or Greg – either is fine) is the Rector of Holy Trinity Parish, and the President of the Preschool Board. 

Greg is a 1992 graduate of Presbyterian College and a 2007 graduate of The General Theological Seminary in New York City. Prior to Holy Trinity, Greg served at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Rome, Georgia. Greg and his wife Emily are both rooted for many generations in Georgia, and have two sons, Andrew and James.

Barbara Ramsey and her husband Ernest have been HTP members since 1963. Barbara has had many roles at HTP through the years including Sunday School teacher, Altar Guild Chairwoman, Vestry member, Senior Warden, Vacation Bible School and present Godly Play Sunday School class teacher and Preschool Board member.  She also has had various positions at the Diocese of Atlanta.  Barbara is a group leader at Bible Study Fellowship in Roswell, a member and chairwoman of various Garden Clubs, a bridge player and an animal lover.  She and her husband have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Gwin Hall is the mom to two HTPP alumni who loved every second of their time here!  Gwin is an attorney and graduate of Auburn University and the University of Georgia.  In her spare time she volunteers with animal rescue, her church, and the City Schools of Decatur.

Tyler Waidner Smith is an active board member for Holy Trinity Parish Preschool. She has an undergraduate degree in Education from Presbyterian College and earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia State University.  She believes that a positive preschool experience sets the stage for successful and well-rounded students. HTPP is truly a place for young children to learn and grow. 

Haley Curtis Stevens is a Parishioner of Holy Trinity Parish, and a mother of 3 children, two of which (twins) currently attend the preschool.  Haley also serves on the Advisory Council of College Heights Early Childhood Learning Center and served as her neighborhood association's Board of Directors for over five years.  Prior to staying home with her children, Haley was the President of an international nonprofit trade association in the food industry, where she interacted with the FDA, WHO and the USDA regularly.  Haley holds a PhD from Emory University in Biomedical and Biological Sciences and a B.S. from Vanderbilt University.  She has lived in Decatur for 17 years and was born and raised in Atlanta, GA.
