Fundraising Opportunities

As a school, we average $18,000 a year in fun-raising activities ($1,000 a month during school months) in simple, painless fun-raisers. That’s why we call them FUN-RAISERS.

These funds support many things that make our school unique such as: resource teachers – Gardening, Globe Trotting, Music, and Improvements such as playground upgrades, GAB BAGS and 2 teachers per classroom no matter how small.

Party Like a Preschooler: This fun-raiser, set for Saturday, April 21, 2018, is the best silent auction in town! Other activities include a cake walk (always a favorite), crafts, and games especially designed for children, as well as a Bounce House. Be sure to mark your calendar: families from years past always attend because they know how wonderful the event is!  Thank you to this years sponsors:  Align Movement Design, All Fired Up, Big Peach Running, Booth Western Museum, Butter & Cream, Catch Air, Center for Puppetry Arts, Charis Books, Chick-Fil-A, College Football Museum, Comedy Club, Corner Pub, Dancing Goats, Dec Ghost Tour, Dec School of Ballet, DeKalb Cty Parks & Rec, Farm Burger, Fellini’s, Greene’s Fine Foods, Grow Salon, High Museum of Art, Hippo Hop, Horizon Theatre, Icing Cake Designs, Indigo Wellness, J. Mabel’s Labels: Purchase these cute, dishwasher/microwave safe and waterproof labels, and never look through another Lost and Found again!  We receive a commission payment at the end of our campaign, so please order enough to last you through the year. Go to, click Support a Fundraiser, and click on Holy Trinity Parish Preschool (Decatur) to buy. Blank labels are also for sale through the school for .50 each.  Ask Ms. Kay or Ms. Sahnika for details!

Original Works: Each child creates an original piece of art that is transformed into a magnet. You can buy the magnet (or not) and other products such as garden flags, aprons, trivets, holiday ornaments and more.

Scholastic Book Orders: Ordering through Scholastic is an inexpensive way to order books. We distribute book orders monthly and you can order your books online. We receive the books and get them to you promptly. This is a great way to build your child’s library at a very low price for some of the best children’s books on the market.

Snack Packs: Former HTPP parent, Sarah McFarland, hand makes these reusable and adorable snack packs.  Perfect for your little Lunch Bunchers!  Email Sarah at or buy at our entry door.

Honey Baked Ham: This is a WOW of a fun-raiser. The school receives 20% of each gift certificate sold and the best part is the gift certificates can be used anywhere in the United States. This makes them great for Thanksgiving and Christmas gifts!

Thirty-One Gifts

Thirty-One Gifts:  We are working in a mutually beneficial relationship with Thirty-One rep, and HTPP parent, Jennifer Hallan.

Santa’s Gift Shoppe:  Children get a chance to shop for family and friends, and learn that the holidays are about giving as well as receiving.  The kids love this HTPP holiday tradition!

Silhouettes by Edward Casey: This is a returning fun-raiser that we are thrilled to participate in once again. Fliers will be distributed at school.  Be on the lookout for more information!

DayC Photography

School Photos: A percentage of sales is earned for every class and individual photos that you purchase. We also schedule a family session in November.   Our photographer will make Christmas cards or family photos or both. There is no sitting fee for family photo day.

Scholarship Fund: We currently need support for many of our students who attend the school but need a partial (or full scholarship). Because of the love and dedication George Tyrones gave to Holy Trinity we have named our scholarship fund in his honor. You may donate one month’s tuition (on average $250/month) or even a small donation of $10 will go to helping our deserving parents and students. Please make checks out to Holy Trinity Preschool and send them to 515 E. Ponce de Leon Ave; Decatur GA 30030…in care of Kay Watkins.
